Heading to Cleveland for the weekend from Boston for the Browns game Sunday with my son (15) and sister. We are staying downtown at the Westin. Already have dinner at Great Lakes planned for Saturday night. Any other suggestions? I would prefer not to drive, but might head to Fat Heads for lunch on Saturday. Any tips are helpful, but it would have to be a place that my son can go too. Thanks.

If you can make it down to Strongsville I HIGHLY recommend The Brew Kettle.

And, new this year....a Browns Tailgate party!

    BROWNS/STEELERS TAILGATE
NEW FLAGSHIP EVENT! Whether you have tickets to the game or not, head to the Huntington Surface Lot for the mother of all tailgates. Great Lakes beer will be flowing including Dortmunder, Burning River, and Oktoberfest along with a special tapping of Cleveland Brown Ale. The Jolly Scholar, winner of numerous regional BBQ awards and as seen on Food Network, will be on hand with a sausage bar and all the fixings. And, it's early, but we've got you covered with a Tito's Bloody Mary bar. $25/person includes sausage bar, 4 pints, and 1 Bloody Mary (does not include tickets to the game). Children permitted with ticketed adult. Proceeds benefit Malone Scholarship Program.

Thanks. I saw that but obviously didn't read the whole thing as I did not see the children with ticketed adult. This is an awesome option.

Tremont Tap House is one of the best beer bars in the country and they have good food. Five minute cab from Great Lakes and I'm pretty sure your son would be ok.

I'd really like to stay & find out but, it's always asshole to asshole in there. Guess I'll have to try it out when the sun is up. Forgive me but I don't care how good the beer, selection of, or the food is, if I have to wait, I'm out...i.e. if I have to wait more than 10mins just to get the beer order in, DONE.

I was just in the Cleveland area 2 weeks ago. Went to Fat Heads and loved it, definitely worth a visit. If you like Pumpkin beers you gotta try Spooky Tooth....So Good!

In all honesty, I almost always go there for brunch or lunch. Wouldn't attempt dinner on the weekend.
