This is great news! Their beer is of the highest order. Nothing flashy, just classic beer!!

You know the best part about this?

I’ll finally have a Weihenstephan Hefeweizen that will actually fill the Hefeweizen glasses they give you with the holiday mix pack each year.

You don't (or didn't) get the .5 liter bottles around you?

The nice thing is if you see them now to won’t have to decode it. This is one beer that does turn here, but still you have to have a cut off canning date too, even though it’s imo a fairly sturdy beer. 4 months and under would be prime, sometimes you can find it, but mostly they’re 6 months or so. Thankfully it’s price friendly.

Is the Helles the same as the “premium original” in the bottles?

Those packs must only weigh a sliver over 4 pounds, ideal for personal transport :grinning:

"Weihenstephaner Helles was first introduced in May 2020 to Germany after a full year of preparation to fine tune the recipe for release. Winning Gold at the European Beer Star awards in Fall 2020, Weihenstephaner Helles is a 4.8% ABV Session Helles Lager that is an easy drinker with full flavor. Brewed with Bavarian malting barley and aroma hops from the Hallertau. A crowd pleaser with a light body and clean crisp finish, that will make you want to crush another."

I asked the inventory manager at work and he said once they appear on his list he is ordering them so time will tell.

total wine in cherry hill also has different distributors than us so I can check there as well
