Rogue's voodoo bacon thingie was an interesting addition to a beer tasting. Don't know if I'd want a whole bomber of it. I don't think it's the same beer as voodoo donut.

Rogue's chipotle beer is one of my favorite chili beers, FWIW

I'll second all of the responses pointing you to Short's and Right Brain. It's too bad neither one distributes wide (and in the case of the weirdest beers, most all of them are pub-exclusive), but they are an easy 45-minute drive from each other, each has a cool tasting room, and the countryside is damn beautiful up there.

Kelpie seaweed ale. Quite a refreshing summer drink.

How could I forget Urban Chestnuts Winged Nut Dunkleweizen, brewed with chestnuts. They recently released an imperial version "Wolpertinger"

Just went to my favorite local spot Engine 15 tonight and they had a Raspberry Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout and it was so good/smooth. Started off with a raspberry flavor at the start of the sip, chocolate mid sip and then a kick to the tonsils of peanut butter, finishing smoooooth.

Crime is one of the very few truly undrinkable beers that I have ever had. That it was rereleased in the 500ml bottles boggles my mind.

I had that on vacation. They make it for their Asparagus festival. I think he said they smoked it on the grill and put it in their lager. I couldn't believe I LOVED it! Right Brain was awesome! Just very hard to find. I feel lucky to have been there!

I had Bullfrog's Jong Bruin Cafe tonight. It's a Flanders Oud Bruin steeped with coffee. Given that it's the first coffee sour I've ever seen I wasn't sure what to expect. It was really strange, but good and the coffee really popped.

Jester King Ambree doesn't use any weird ingredients, but it tastes like green apples and cheddar. JK Das Uberkind tasted like Roquefort Papillon. It's amazing what a wild ale is capable of, flavor wise.
