Saw another mention of Indra Kunindra, but worth restating. So much heat from the curry and chili pepper, but not your typical "spicy beer" heat. Pretty much tastes like Indian food, as beer. Taste doesn't always come out positive, but you very much know what you're getting into beforehand.

I love that beer (and the barrel aged version), but I agree it's not for everyone.

DFH Nameste smells and tastes like Oscar Mayer wieners.

What kind of strange are we talking?

Strange as in weird ingredients? If so some good one include Stones R&R Coconut IPA collab, Intergalactic Wormhole Wit with cucumbers, maui brewings mana wheat with pineapple, Birra Ectrusca Bronze from DFH was pretty good while a whole bunch of weird ingredients, grey monday has hazelnuts in it, Victory at breakfast has captain crunch in it.

There are plenty of beers that a strange with what you could call regular ingredients. Most things with brett in it can be wildly different then a regular yeast (try a devotion next to a saint's devotion from lost abbey). Or they can just stretch a beer to it's limits. Southern Charred, Naughty Sauce by noble ale works, most barely wines are completly different from one another.

Oddside Bean Flicker was a strange one, coffee infused blonde ale. Basically tasted and smelled just like iced coffee after the ice melted a bit, with no hint of coffee in the appearance at all.

Their Mayan Mocha Stout was really good, supposed to be reminiscent of mexican hot chocolate and i'll be damned if it doesn't taste just like it. Nice slow burn from the habaneros as well. And weird for me as it was my first peppered brew.

Pipeworks - The One Horned Wonder and His Fanciful Flying Fresno

9% Citra and Simcoe DIPA with passion fruit and fresno chiles (with the capsaicin removed). So odd I couldn't decide if I liked/disliked it. IMO it would have been better with the heat.

Olvisholt Brugghus Skadi - tastes like a lager on the front, a doppelbock in the middle, and a saison on the finish.

Stone Suede Imperial Porter - infused with avocado honey, jasmine and calendula flowers; end result is almost mead-like and weirdly flowery

Magic Hat HiCu is what you are in search of.
If hibiscus and cucumber beer is what you desire, you will surely not be disappointed. On the other hand, if you are expecting the hibiscus and cucumber to somehow give underlying notes to the beer, you will be disappointed. Perhaps this is the worst beer I have tried, but I should have read the label on it (even though it came in a variety pack and I didn't expect much from it.) If hibiscus and cucumber is what you desire, this beer will surely deliver. That it exactly what it tastes like.

Short's is on point, I really enjoyed a pint of Strawberry Short's Cake. OK fine, I bought a case. They are one of the coolest microbreweries around. I love traveling all through Mi and sampling what they got going. I actually saw some 6 packs of Pandemonium Pale in Denver, Co which confused me.

I'm going to say anything other than OddSide's Citra Pald Ale and the Chocolade Koffie Stout their beers maintain a Shorts level of weirdness. Try the Firefly, their Papaya and Habenero Pale Ale!

I think Praries The Beer That Saved Christmas is pretty weird.

I saw that Short's Golden Eagle is going to be at the Extreme Beer Fest. I had that in January at the brewery, and can attest it is wonderfully weird. Wine, Belgian tastes, and hardcore booze all collide on your palate. A sipper for sure.

Oyster Stouts are becoming more common nowadays, but I was pleasantly surprised when I first tried one and it tasted like a super fresh briny oyster followed by the taste of good beer.

Rogue, about half of their beer. Especially anything that they're released that is/was in a pink bottle.

did anyone mention a rather infamous watermelon beer yet?

I'll say oddly, I thought it was ok, as long as it's over 95 degrees with high humidity. That being said, I'd still prefer a DIPA.
