Weird Beers

I'm one of few that enjoys 21A's Watermelon Wheat. Real watermelons.

The weirdest/coolest beer (that tastes good) I've had so far is by a San Francisco brewery called Cervecería de MateVeza. They do interesting styles but the one that stood out to me was the SALTED CARAMEL Ale. It's after the popular ice cream style by Bi-Rite Creamery.

Jalapeño Imperial IPA (Alaskan Brewing Company)
Yerba Mate IPA (Mateveza)
Choc Lobster (Dogfish Head)...brewed with live lobsters and dark cocoa powder...

Not my favorite. I thought it was too sweet, but it's worth a try.

 

I remember visiting Troegs Brewing and trying the Scratch Beer Mushroom Ale. I thought...wow thats weird. But I enjoyed it.
