Weldwerks in Chicago Area?

    Anyone else suddenly seeing WW in Chicago? My local indie shop has had a bunch dropped a couple times in last few weeks. Juicy Bits, Fit Bits, Advanced Fluid Dynamics, Churro Laser Sword Fight, Watermelon Cotton Candy, Intergalactic Medium. Its been great! Wondering why they need to distribute to Chicago when you can barely get any in Colorado it's so sought-after? But Im not complaining for sure!

    I think it is because of FOBAB. I remember hearing about breweries needing a license for x amount of days or something to bring their beer over for the fest and they use that license to distribute some of their beers as well.

    I could also be totally wrong lol

    We get semi-regular drops from Weldwerks. I'd say about quarterly.

    I believe youre correct. Drops like these also occur during smells like a beer fest due to the need for an IL license

    I think it's more Weldwerks than Chicago beer fests and distribution driving this. Minneapolis area is seeing the some of the same activity. I just picked up a Citra DDH Juicy Bits and I know Advanced Fluid Dynamics is making the rounds around here and up in Duluth as well.

    I picked up Citra DDH Juicy Bits and Intergalactic Medium at Logan Square Binny’s. There were several others but I went with freshest cans.
