    Not sure why the majority of people are recommending American IPA's. If the OP is looking for a balanced IPA, sure I guess. I guess it's all relative.

    I'd like to mention Ballast Point Calico, Great Lakes Nosferatu. Victory Dirtwolf is very balanced for a DIPA.

    I don't know that I agree with the whole "balanced" narrative that you backboners use so freely. Those of us who prefer little-to-no malt sweetness are not necessarily choosing unbalanced beers.
