Finally getting to NZ next month, spending a long weekend in Wellington. Looking forward to trying out some of the local products and spending some time in pubs Ive read good things about. If anyone knows of any events around that time (the October/November weekend) let me know. Otherwise Ill be cruising around soaking up the local scene.
Top of the list would be http://pacificbeerexpo.co.nz - it's a great little festival if you can make it. Feel free to drop by the brewery, we're open seven days and will have a new taproom open by then across the street. The www.craftbeercapital.com site is a good resource as well!
Hey thanks GP! Sadly Ill miss the PBE by a week, but turns out Im there for the Rugby world cup final. Hopefully NZ are going well and I can find a nice crowd to watch the game with And Ill certainly make an effort to stop by the taproom. Cheers!
