Smoke regularly. This smelled like a bud of sativa to me.

Has anyone seen fresh Revision IPA & DIPA cans in the OC/LA area. Particularly in north OC/LB. plenty of fresh hazy cans available. But in need of Rev west coast. A month or less out. And a month is pushing it. I saw Dr Lupulin cans at my local. Passed on it since it’s a TIPA. I may end up going back for it if I can’t find any fresh Revision WC.

This batch of Simcoast to Coast is fucking delicious. I should've grabbed more than two four packs

The Simcoe harvest is really good this year.

Aside from the Beachwood regulars (Amalgamator and Citradelic), does anything else of theirs make it to the SF Bay Area? That Simcoast to Coast sounds fantastic.

I've gotten Simcoast to Coast through K&L Wines in SF / RWC. (Last year's batch.) Probably through their Hollywood warehouse though LOL. (You can have Will Call at any of the locations, and they will move the liquor to where it needs to be, give or take a few days. They'll let you know when it's ready for pick-up.) They have Citraholic and Amalgator too semi-regularly, but they'll also get in some of their seasonals/one-offs.

The only reason I know about the whole world of Beachwood beers available is because of their shipping! Guess I could have posted this question in the Beachwood or Bay Area grocery store forums too, but something about thinking of a crisp, cold, classic WCIPA just made me lose all sensibilities.

@thuey, I've long heard about that hack with K&L. Still haven't tried it yet. Looks like both Amalgamator and Citraholic (edit--not -dellic) are available--but not for shipping.

I don't know how their shipping works but if you want them to move it to their SF or RWC location, you choose that upon checkout instead of a shipping address. It's free and is always an option. And they will hold it for up to 90 days, if you don't want to pick it up immediately (or want to bundle it with future orders.)

For COVID-19, I've done pickup at the SF location. You pull up to a parking space in their lot and then they bring it to your car.

Drank a bunch of Hazy’s tonight (NY brewed and one here by Unsung). The NY stuff was ok, but the Unsung Lagoon was a bubble gum shit fest.

Drinking a straight up banger now - Port Permanent Vacay - oooo lala. What a great West Coast IPA,and reasonably priced at that ($2.99).

I chased those Hazy beers and I was humbled by a West Coast one...

My name is Raul, and I am out of this bitch!

I've only had a handful of Unsung beers but they've all ranged from mediocre to undrinkable.

Permanent vacation is the best cheap high quality wcipa I’ve bought in a while.
I’ve gotten a run of east coast hazies lately in trades too.
Treehouse is always impressive but some of these others (bissell, mast landing, other half) have not impressed me.
The Sabro hop has been a culprit. I get this weird coconut milk/minty/tartar thing from it I’m not a fan of at all.
    -cheers.

Count me in the " not a fan of Sabro " club. Dominates every beer I've tasted when it's in the hop bill. Plus I'm not a big coconut person anyway. I've never been blown away by Bissell too, not bad but not next level stuff IMHO.

    Cheers,

Additionally I love coconut, but I don’t feel like that flavor goes well with ipa’s.
I won’t delve into my feelings on lactose and milkshake ipa’s. No one wants to hear a rant.

I remain impressed with new glory west coast stuff. Ubahdank and Do you even Mosaic bro are both pleasant additions that hit up here at 12-13 a 4 pack. I'll be glad to see them hang around hopefully, especially since Fall River seems to have moved Hexagenia to the 19.2 oz can? weird fucking move and not the prefered vessel. Although the batch of Widowmaker they canned at the end of may has a super nice bitter citrus rind bite that makes it way too refreshing on a 90 degree day than an 8.5% ipa should be
