My buddy is flying out to California on Saturday and then driving back to the East Coast. What beer should I ask him to pick up for me that you can only get on the West Coast? I already am asking for him to get me Pliny the Elder. Thanks in advance!
Thanks. I should've thought to mention that. This would be in the Anaheim/LA area. It would be helpful if it is sold in a liquor store since my friend will only be in CA for a day.
Saturday. Do you have to buy it at the brewery or do liquor stores sell them? I'm not familiar with California beer laws.
A lot of liquor stores get Pliny. It's just a matter of going to the right one. I don't live in that area, so can't help with finding a good store. Blind Pig is also a really good one from Russian River.
He'll be flying into LA so I assume that would be easier. He's driving back from Rancho Cucamonga. I am mostly interested in local beers that may be sold at liquor stores in that area. I don't think he'll have time to stop at any breweries. What I'm asking for may not be possible given the circumstances.
Yeah. Don't think you will be able to get any pliny out there. I know some total wines get it. Bit i think their delivery is mid week.
