West LA Bottleshare

I'm right by El Camino. I think I'd be in for a South Bay share.

 

Just adding my two cents.....great bottle share and nice group of people. Everyone was very generous and the discussions were great. I, too, am very much looking forward to the next one.
GULP staff could not have been nicer. Dan, next time we're getting the wings not the hummus! (Although all of the food we tried was great!)

 

Really enjoyed last nights share and meeting many fellow BAs .too.

Like everyone said, great beer, great food, great people. great location and of course great job @JN1 for putting this together.

Looking forward to the next one.

That's within striking distance for me too. Might be able to make this one too.

 

For what its worth, my expected end time was 9:30. My actual end time was around 11:00. Was enjoying the share far to much to exit early. Even with a heavy schedule today, it was well worth it. Great bottle SHARE.

And to put the final nail in the coffin. I enjoyed what everyone brought. Wasn't a lame beer on the table. Keep in mind that beer that you have easy access to is not beer that others have easy access to. And if you like that beer, you are a BA, others around the table are going to like it too.

And then there is this:

Someone please schedule one of these in Orange County! I have some bottles I’ve been meaning to open up but LA is too far for me on a weeknight.

Yo! I didn't see this thread before. I live 7 minutes from this Gulp place! I would totally be down to show up once in a while at this is you guys do it regularly. Need some more West Side beer friends!

 

Pictures look awesome! Would totally be into the idea of the tasting glasses you were talking about earlier too. Already counting down until the next one!

I am on East Coast, but happened across this thread. Well done people, love seeing these shares! I will be in LA for vacation in August, might have to attend one of these.

 

Hi all -- I was the Gulp regular (wearing the Three Weavers hat in the photo album above) who showed up not realizing there was a forum organizing it. Had a great time and had a lot of great beer -- for those of you who might have left earlier, rest assured that we finished off as many of the bottles as could be achieved.

I've been watching that bar evolve into a better and better beer bar over the years, so was happy to see so many enthusiasts in attendance.

I did end up with someone's 1-LITER POP-TOP SMOG CITY GROWLER; I'm not sure if it was left there intentionally or what, but I'm happy to get it back in the hands of whoever brought it (apologies for not remembering who all brought what!).

 

Glad you were able to put all those bottles to good use.
