Besides the Breweries, which i would definitely check out (i'd go Funky Buddha, then tequesta then due south), if you just want a bar, the brass tap in cityplace has 80 taps, and they usually have a least a few "specialty" beers on tap and/or bottle. Generally a better selection than i've seen at world of beer.

If you come to TBC let us know. Heatwave and I live 3 minutes from the brewery and we would LOVE to meet you and get a chance to experience your amazing charm/ witty attitude in person.

Heading down to WPB this coming weekend. Looks like barrel and grain is closed. Any other updated options or leads beer wise?

    Thanks!

All of the places in my post on page 1 are still there except Barrel and Grain. Only thing I could think of adding would be the BJ's Brewhouse which just opened a few months ago by the Palm Beach Outlet Mall on Palm Beach Lakes Road. BJ's is a chain but the brews are ok. Pretty good food too. If you have a car I'd check the places out on page 1 first. Drink Local.

Thanks for the great post. Im in West Palm fairly often (my girl lives there), and I hadnt found any great beer places; and shes not a beer drinker so she doesnt know the hot spots for craft. The best place we found was this really cool little restuarant bar in Delray, I forget the name. Food was great, albeit pricey. Beer selection was impressive for a small place that seemed more restaurant oriented. Not a ton of taps, but some really great things, including things I rarely see on tap like DFH 120min. Pretty good bottle/can selection as well. The place's facebook profile page was a Sam Adam's Utopias, so I was hoping they were doing pours of that, but there disappointingly were not. Anyways, Im rambling, but thanks again for the info. Im gonna hit up Barrel and Grain next time Im down there. And the Buddhas have been on my to do list for quite some time.

Are you thinking about Tryst on Atlantic Avenue? Have heard good things and it's well rated on this site but I have not had the pleasure as of yet.

hey guys i'm in West Plam Beach tomorrow for the Offspring/Bad Religion concert. Wondering where I might find some Cigar City, Crooked Stave, Cascade, DuClaw, Evil Twin, New England, Shelton Bros imports, bruery, weyerbacher. Is The Market on Clematis my best bet for bottles? Even if they are expensive if I can find a few good one's I'm game. Gonna check out Grease Burger before the show, and hopefully Funky Buddha Saturday before we leave. Any new info would be rad, thanks guys!

Bumping this, for a trip during the third week in March. I have a friend from college that has a list of places, so I'm mostly doing reconnaissance on what's new and exciting...

Other than the spots mentioned, some new ones include Copper Blues and I can't believe it hasn't been mentioned yet but Dixie Grill & Bar.

There is no longer a Brass Tap in West Palm Beach but the one in Boynton that has opened up in its place is better.

    Cheers!

Barrel and Grain is no longer open. I'd also hit Beer City in Jupiter for a very nice selection of bottles beer and local beer in growlers to take home. They pressure fill their growlers so they last quite a bit. Just 32oz. growlers I believe 64oz. growlers are still illegal here in FL.

And Twisted Trunk is a new brewery that just opened in Palm Beach Gardens. Mostly session beers but I have liked what I've tried so far especially their IPGA IPA which is around 6.2% ABV.

Just got the proposed itinerary: Kirby's (apparently my friend's version of "Cheers"), Twisted Trunk, Tequesta, and (he thinks, name escapes him) Copper Blues...

We must have been watching a different show.

And yes, its called Copper Blues. Here's the taplist:

    http://www.copperblueslive.com/west-palm-beach/westpalm-beer/

Note that they do not list their special drafts. In the past they have had Imperial Maple Bacon Coffee Porter and other goodies. Not trying to get your hopes up as its long gone by now, but just a heads up to ask what special taps they have unlisted. West Palm is my neck of the woods, cheers!

Neither of the real life Cheers bars in Boston look like the TV show so he might be dead on.
