Westbrook Citrus Ninja in Birmingham

    Saw on Westbrook's release schedule that they released Citrus Ninja earlier this month. I see a few people checked into it on Untappd but nobody as far west as AL. Any word on if the Birmingham market will get any this year or when?

    Hop City received it in Atlanta. Did you check their location by you in B'ham?

    It has not come to Bham this week. Talked to the rep on Monday, no date is set but she said it should be soon

    Disappointed with this year's batch. Should rename it Malt Ninja

    I also find it funny that we can get Mexican Cake at 8-9 days old, but Citrus Ninja is 20+ days old every year

    I was disappointed in this batch, too. Last year, I drank over a case of this stuff. This year, I bought 3 bottles...drank 2 and gave the other away. Total malt bomb! At least I have access to Grapefruit Sculpin to get my 'citrus' fix.

    Agreed. You cannot hype the Citrus angle and provide no Citrus flavor. I always look forward to this one, but it was a let down. It tasted much older than the 25 days the label indicated. Nothing jumped out as fresh to me about this one.
