Check beer menus. There are a ton of places that have it. I am going to NYC this weekend and will be picking some up.
Yeah there will be a lot more stores carrying it in the next week or so. My local gets all the westbrook stuff and they're still waiting.
this thread begs the question: does it matter if Gose is fresh? meaning comparing a fresh can against a 3-month old one, not one that's like a year old.
I've had a can of WB gose at about 4 months old and I have to say I much prefer it fresh. It developed a bit of a stale funky aftertaste at that point that I can't really describe.
We'll see this weekend. I have 8 cans from a case of AV Blood Orange Gose that I bought in December. Haven't had one in a while but will check it out this weekend for any significant differences.
I don't think you have to go crazy and drink ASAP like IPA's. But if I remember correctly there are drink by dates on the bottom of the cans so I'm guessing you want to drink them within a few months of canning.
Not this year, but I had on draft last summer at Cooper's Craft and Kitchen. Thought it was ok. Nothing spectacular.
I found some at Whole Foods Tribeca on Greenwich earlier today. Canned 4/15/15. It was in the cooler.
