I hear westbrook just got picked up by a wine distributor called juice and we will be seeing westbrook in nc shortly. Does anyone know any more about this?

This is correct. From what I understand it's only cans to start. Should be anytime now.

Their flagships are great. Plus, they date their cans.

If I had a ship, my flag would be the Mexican Cake label.

This is excellent news. Big fans of all their canned offerings.

Really hope they can crack into Harris Teeter. I struggle to find a decent 6 pack of cans at my local Teeter (I have a pool so we buy LOTS of cans in summer/fall).

Harris Teeter has started carrying their cans around Charleston, so there's a chance you will see them up your way.

At least in the past year or two they've also had some ridiculous prices on them. Think $14-15 a sixer for the ipa/white thai.

Maine Brewing is coming as well. Same distributor.

Juice? Really? They sub wine through distributors in some territories- The Triad, for instance- that do not sell beer. The Triad wine company is owned by an A-B distributor, so who knows how that will go? Weird choice for Westbrook and Maine Beer Co.

I heard Maine is not coming, that it's just a rumor. Guess we'll see before long!

There's been a hold up. Beer's not expected until the end of the month.

I'm pretty sure Juice isn't actually going to be the distributor when this is all said and done.

At the moment Millennium has distribution rights for Westbrook in NC, though only for Westbrook Table Beer, according to the ABC site (which tends to stay pretty up-to-date). Juice looks... tiny. Looks like that only have 10 brands they cover, all wine? And is Westbrook still going to be supplied by Twelve Percent?

So this was a just a one off. Here is the deal, there is the "beer table" series, Westbrook did one but it was done through 12% (so it could be distro'd to all the places that got the others in the beer table series) and millennium is the 12% distributor for NC and that is why he got that beer. We actually didn't get this beer in SC because it was done through 12% and not through the normal Westbrook distro (Advintage) it wasn't allowed to be distributed here because Advintage has exclusive rights to all Westbrook beer in SC and the table beer was done in collaboration with 12%. Juice will be the distributor for Westbrook in NC. Millennium and 12% will have nothing to do with it. 12% and Millennium only get the "gypsy" brews.
