    Well, if you're expecting the same beer, it will be disappointing. I thought it was outstanding after two years. Totally different but so damn good!!

    Had JD mexi about a month ago, and can confirm it is drinking fantastically (even better than fresh IMO). Had AB back in November, and it was still awesome as well.

    I'll be there June 4th - I'm guessing it will still be about town when I arrive.

    I hate to miss out on that dollar a beer deal though! Damn it!!!!!

    It's going to be released this Friday at the brewery. $12/bottle. 1 case limit. Distribution will probably happen sometime next week.

    Via their facebook.

    "MEXICAN CAKE will be released at the brewery on FRIDAY! To put a cherry on top of that, Roti Rolls WILL BE THERE TOO!!!!!!!!!!"

    Based on what I'm hearing I highly suggest going to the brewery if you want some. Sounds like demand will greatly outstrip the supply this year in other markets.

    I'm not totally sure. They said they're bottling for the next couple of weeks - so it's going to be coming fresh off the line. The limit is a case though, I'm sure there will be mad-beer lovers that won't mind dropping $144+tax.
