Westbrook Mexican Cake

Does anyone know if this is still the case? I might actually send my mom (I know) on a beer run if so, since my folks live about 10 min from Westrbook. Thanks in advance.

 

Cake has hit Savannah, GA at the usual spots.

Just got back from Whole Foods and Habersham Beverage, snagged 4 bottles.

Also, its still on draft at The Lodge if anyone feels like heading to the south end of HHI.

 

Believe it is all gone at the brewery.

 

Demand is a lot higher than last year, can't imagine the BA release. After Huna fest I'm sure they'll be prepared.

I hope so. I won't be there, but I wish them well. Unless the yield of the BA variants is through the roof, they might want to seriously consider making it a ticketed event.

 

Wouldn't go, even if we'll run it will be a cluster of royal proportions. IMO trade values drive this so much more than for personal consumption. But it what it is I do the BASC a Foothills, but it's not even remotely like Huna or BA MC were and will be. I agree I'd rethink a first come stand in line thing, lines will be starting 2 days out.

 

Anywhere I could find this in Charlotte/upper south carolina area? Will be there Monday and Tuesday.

 

Can't find it in Charlotte, Westbrook doesn't distribute to NC. Sorry, no idea if there's any left in Fort Mill/Rock Hill or not.

I'm heading to Charlotte this morning , anywhere in sc that is fairly close that would might have MC?

 

The state of SC is all out of Mexican Cake (bottles). Try setting up an IP trade. But it's already popping up on tap for growler fills all over the place.

 

Staying in Holden Beach, NC, anyone know the closest place to the SC/NC border coming down RT 17 to get a growler of MC? Thanks in advance.

 

Hopefully we get some news on the BA Cakes this week. I think around this time last year they announced the release details.

 

I'll go ahead and throw this out there since it's getting close... Anyone who can help me out with some BA MC will earn my undying gratitude, any CO beer they want that I can wrangle, and naming rights to my first born child.

July sees the release of Westbrook Brewing’s (Mt. Pleasant, SC) Barrel Aged Mexican Cake. While the release date for the 2014 stock hasn’t been announced yet, the brewery is already putting Cake into barrels for 2015

One of the barrels coming next summer is Westbrook Mexican Cake aged in Pritchard’s Double Chocolate Bourbon barrels. The Kelso, Tennesee distillery uses cocoa nibs from Nashville’s Olive & Sinclair to create a small batch, highly sought after, chocolate bourbon.

Westbrook Double Chocolate Bourbon Barrel Mexican Cake should arrive in July, 2015.
