Can't argue with that. The beer will be released when it's damn good and ready. I just can't believe it hasn't been sampled yet… Need to try some of that BA cake.

There are no deadlines with barrel-aged beers. It gets repeated ad nauseum, but it'll be ready when it's ready.

Also, it seems that the modus operandi here is to obscure the release as much as possible to lessen the speculation and hype. An August or later release might help.

Visited in the brewery yesterday (pretty awesome!) and they said Mex Cake is "hopefully" going to be released soon. So who knows???

I'm starting to wonder if people even read the threads before asking questions.

Sorry, I'm not going to go through 21 pages. But I assume it's limited to 1 bottle per person?

Got to love the dude that shows up at the tail end of the party and still expects to get the favors handed out for the first guests.

Maybe we can get a mod to change the thread title to "Barrel Aged Mexican Cake- we still don't know, stop asking"

This is not my picture and probably not Westbrook's either, although I can't confirm that.

Brewery release schedules are a blessing and a curse. I get questions about them all the time, just like my buyers field questions from consumers all the time. Sometimes things are ready sooner, and sometimes later. Throw in shipping times (irrelevant to BAMC, but you catch my drift) and it's really just a general guess.

The thread fell to the second page? There goes the hype train. BA MC is pretty much a shelf turd now. Better get ready to trade it for some Bolt Cutter.

So... its not one per person? Spock's look didn't seem to sway me either way...

I'm not sure that's a fair comparison. DB Damon was announced over a month in advance, and was paired with 3 other hyped beers (Damon, Flora, Flora Satsuma). There were people who flew in from Texas and other places. Providing a days notice isn't really the same thing.
