Being that everyone in the south is dead set on driving over on a moments notice... ya I think it'll be similar.

If they announced this was being released tomorrow I'd jump in my car and start driving from Alabama. And if it was a cluster f*k and I didn't end up with any I'd still have a good time one way or another. The longer this drags out, the more hype it will build I'm afraid.

Well, I'm 95% confident in saying this...it won't be in July, like it was last year! Yeah, Nostradamus and such, I am...

I have a tour bus on standby with 65 Floridians who threw in to rent it. Looking forward to drinking the whole way there and getting some BA Cake! Last year we managed to get 16 cases of it, most of it was traded that same day.

    *obviously kidding

I'm heading to Charleston for a babymoon(apparently, it's a thing?) Labor Day weekend and my pregnant wife has already declared "NO BREWERIES!!!" for that weekend.

So...I'm pulling for it not to be then* just because of the utter cruelty involved that would be involved in life throwing me that curve ball.

*- i AM however pulling for lottery(that I win, of course, duh) and my trip falling in the pickup window, b/c I can always run out for "milk".

I won the upland lottery and made the trip to pick up the bottles. On a Saturday afternoon, with a full restaurant, there was only one other person picking up their allotment and he was there to meet me for an ip trade. If Edward is wanting to steer clear of a clusterfuck, lotteries seem to work. What bottles aren't picked up get sold at the brewery first come first served which helps the locals who didnt win.

I'd be all for that, lottery plus a chance for Charleston County locals to have a shot at the remainder.

Like most elections, I'm sure my vote does not count...... I vote that a lottery is a great idea!

It was released last friday, alongside a joint cantillon/hill farmstead/westbrook sour. No line since a silent release and there was a one case limit on all 3 ba cakes and the sour. It even lasted until saturday before selling out!

Nobody knows yet, this thread is pretty much entirely speculation.

What we know for sure is that its not on bottles yet. Seemingly the entire population of the southeast is driving over on the drop of a hint so it will likely be a mess.
