No you said it would be a week or two. We could release on a Friday. Ship to our distro Monday and it could be in stores the same day, no? I don't work for the distro but if they wanted to get it out there fast this is possible right? What I mean is it doesn't take a week or two. Sometimes we don't give it to them for a week or two but that could be our decision

 

I love that a group of insiders have come in and shut down the wild speculation. Now if only you guys would make the rounds on every other forum so I can stop reading about how I should be able to pick up mad tons of Mexican Cake today.

 

Haha so much ^^^ this! I am hoping or a Saturday release so I can come down in person and spend the day enjoying Mt. Pleasant and all Westbrook has to offer, just sayin'...

 

Yeah, anything is possible, but last year it didn't hit the shelves for at least a week or 2 after the brewery release. Same with all other special/limited releases, Mr. Chipper, Old Time, SBMP and others. Not sure why everybody is jumping on me like I'm making stuff up. Most of you seem to forget things pretty quick.

 

LMAO...that's one word for them though I have a couple others much more fitting...

 

These threads both crack me up and cause me to despair for humanity... or at least the beer drinking part of it.

 

I work here and I said we don't know the release date. That should be enough. Ive said a million times I'm not lying to you guys.

Mike, do you know if y'all are putting more, same, or less into distribution this year? I'm starting to suspect the truck chasers will be present for this one.

Then as soon as we tell the release date we get the. "Where will it be sent to", "can you hook me up" etc. then it will start again with BA cake except 100x worse

 

Ok good point. I'm just saying if we wanted to get it out quicker we could. There is no two week rule is what I mean.

 

And there are some "insiders", but you know what, they will tell you the same thing I tell you and the office assistant and anyone else working here will tell you. They don't have special intel. No one yet knows the amount of variants or the release dates of things.

 

So I should stop telling everyone that calls me to call the brewery and ask? My bad!

 

Have her answer the phone with "Skull Coast brewing." They'll never call back.

Yeah, I actually sent out a TPS report to my accounts this morning with the latest update so people would stop calling/texting me every 8 minutes. I know my accounts are getting tons of calls too.
