I would love to get a hold of one but I think I need some more info to adjust my offer properly. I originally offered some kbs and a 10 abyss but zero bites. Was Mexican cake extremely limited? Anyone care to share how they landed theirs?
I was at a store about a month ago and they had plenty of this on tap and in bottles. It was in SC though.
Very limited bottling...I believe right at/under 1500 bottles total. When it was first released, no one really jumped at it. It was probably on the shelf for a week or two, then BAM! Every store was sold out of their allocation within a day or so. There are still a couple of select stores that might have a keg or two left, but there are zero bottles available in retail stores.
I landed some for an assortment of brews. Freetail Old Bat Rastard, Black Ops '10, Abyss '10, Abyss '11, and BBXXIII for 2 Mexican Cakes plus random stuff to make up $4$.(he bombed me) I thought it was fair. It was probably the 3rd ISO posted on the new forum, so I jumped on the bandwagon early. Hope this helps.
yep rbradley nailed it...sat around for a few weeks and then it was gone. 120 cases bottled (12x22oz)
