    Dropping today:

Today we are releasing beers that are years in the making. Our Fruit/Wood/Time series is the culmination of years of brewing and blending different wood aged beers. Five different versions are ready in the tasting room today.

Black Raspberry Madeira Finish - $12 375ml - a blend of 33% dry sherry cask matured mixed fermentation saison and 67% oak foudre aged sour beer. It was blended and refermented with black raspberries for three months in first use madeira barrels.

Red Raspberry Port Pipe Finish - $8 375ml - a blend of mixed fermentation sour beer from two different oak foudres. The blend was racked into two 650 liter tawny port pipes and refermented with raspberries for six months.

Black Raspberry - $14 500ml - a blend of 33% dry sherry cask matured mixed fermentation saison and 67% oak foudre aged sour beer. It was blended and refermented with black raspberries for three months in second use 500 liter marsala puncheons.

Black Currant - $12 500ml - a blend of 50% dry sherry cask matured mixed fermentation saison and 50% oak foudre aged sour beer. It was blended and refermented with black currants for four months in third use 500 liter marsala puncheons.

Montmorency & Balaton Cherry - $8 500ml - a blend of 50% two year old wine barrel aged sour ale and 50% two year old foudre aged wild ale. The beer was refermented with Montmorency & Balaton cherries for six months in another new oak foudre

On draft today: 2018 Vanilla Barrel Aged Coconaughty.
The balance between chocolate, vanilla, and coconut has been done right. Vanilla is dominating as espected being a dominating adjunct but the other adjucts are very present. Tasty

I was almost expecting this to be a post about BAMC... Seems every time WB drops it, there is a hurricane in the area. LOL

The cherry sour in the Fruit Wood Time series was terrible. Hoping the port and madeira ones are better, probably drink them this weekend while hurricaning.

    2 coconaughty variants this Saturday.
Maple bourbon barrel aged (obviously) and vanilla bourbon barrel aged. 30$ each.

Was going they were in a price lowering trend I guess not. And dam Westbrook is really getting their moneys worth out of all those maple bourbon barrels.

Are they releasing the '18 regular coco in bottles, or just the two variants?

Just the two variants. Wish the original would come back tho. Simplicity is best.

Any idea what turnout will be like, or what time folks lineup for this type of thing? The wife and I are going to be in town visiting some friends and we were going to stop by regardless... need to know how much I should alter our schedule.

I’d say as long as you show up on Saturday you will be ok. Might even last longer.

I can’t remember the last time they gave this much notice for a stout with as much love as Coconaughty has. Hoping the last part of your comment is true and a metric shit ton was produced.

Very true. But lately Westbrook stuff seems to be sticking around. Coconaughty tho people will make a road trip out of it.

On Instagram they replied to someone asking if this would hit distro. They said it depends on how much hey sell on Saturday. I would think your chances are good.

I went around 4 and they still had multiple cases of both. You’ll be fine.

Yeah, looked like the bottle list and tap list yesterday was pretty darn good.

Made it to Westbrook, they still had a few bottles left. That Sack Juice Cuvee on nitro though was heavenly.

There's not a ton. If it's really busy tomorrow, it might sell out
