    Found another one, @islay
    City Service Brewing, Darlington

Technically west of the Dells, in the SW region. Opened in a restored service station with a classic car & petroliana theme.

    Great list, thanks!

It's so weird to see Hillsboro Brewing Company on here. I'm from that area originally, and it's such a random little area that I would've never expected their stuff to get on BA.

I really like Oliphant! My brother has a cabin close to there and I always stop for some crowlers/4 packs.

Lots of beer stops in western WI! I visited Swinging Bridge in Jan 2018. Great place and really good beer. You can buy beer shares if you want. Oliphant is doing some great stuff. I can't make heads or tails of their website, but the beer is great. Brewing Projekt in Eau Claire makes really good brew too.

I'm heading to the UP from Minneapolis this weekend and hoping to stop at The Brewing Projekt, does anyone know what sort of stuff they have in crowlers for sale I can bring home with me?

I was there Saturday, but it was my last stop before coming back here. So I didn't pay much attention to what they had. I would call them later in the week. Supply/availability can change fast. Woodman's might have what you want.

Can't help you with Brewing Projekt info, but be sure to pick up some of Old Nation's M43 (or Boss Tweed) while in the UP. Great beers. (especially if you are into the whole NE IPA thing)

Yeah, I've tried M43 once and would love to get more but I don't believe it is currently distributed to the UP.

It's all over the UP. (I'm originally from Escanaba). You shouldn't have much trouble finding it, depending on where you are headed. Here is a list of where Old Nation distributes to. Not sure how up to date it is, but I'm sure you can Ctrl+F in it and find somewhere along your route that has it.,

This article is over a month-old, but I just stumbled across it: "Two breweries planned for summer openings in downtown Menomonie" (Brewery Nonic and Zymurgy, both previously mentioned).

Nonic has major connects to Real Deal Brewing at The Raw Deal restaurant, to the point that I'm wondering if brewing even will continue at Real Deal / Raw Deal (one of the best breweries in western Wisconsin, in my opinion). If anybody has any knowledge of Real Deal's plans in light of the fact that its brewer is opening Nonic, please chime in.

I'll note that there's a brewery in California also called Zymurgy, so don't be shocked if the Menomonie BIP ends up changing its name (I have no inside info; I'm just speculating).

Trap Rock Brewing Company, St. Croix Falls (brewery-in-planning), Facebook, 3-18-18: "... we believe that an opening date of May 25th is very realistic. Lot of work to be completed before that of course. Anyone that would like to help out is welcome. We normally have a growler or four to sample from while we work."

Reading about all these western WI places got me wondering if anyone knows if there are any good bike trail trips between several of these places. For instance, park in some city then bike out to a few and back, or something like that.

Sounds like a good idea. Looks like the Chippewa River State Trail combined with the Red Cedar State Trail might hit a few of them.
