Westport, CT Bars

    Will be passing through Westport, CT today. Need a place to have a good beer and watch some college football. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Spotted Horse Tavern or the Black Duck, perhaps? Kind of a wasteland for what you're looking for, unfortunately. Do yourself a favor and hit Local in Fairfield instead. Next town over from Westport.

    Agreed; Local of Fairfield or Craft260 are options in Fairfield; just one town northeast of Westport.
    But, if you need to be in Westfield, you can try BobbyQ downtown which has a beer garden on the roof (closed in the winter) but decent tap list. You can also go to the GingerMan in Norwalk (adjacent to Westport, southwest).
