i have access to Westy 12 from 2006. It has been properly cellared, but is it too old? Anyone know how it's drinking? Thanks

It's probably no good. You can send it to me and I'll let you know how poorly it aged.

It should be just fine if stored well

Should be pretty awesome. Get a fresh one as well, and a 3rd if possible in between and see how it ages.

9-10 years isn't unheard of for that beer, but it will probably be past its prime. I bet it will be quite good. If it were me, I probably wouldn't go for if it was going to cost a lot, as there are so many BSDAs out there that are "nearly" as good as Westy for a fraction of the price and can be found on store shelves everywhere and aged to perfection without much trouble.
