i hear rumors of a few making it into indiana in april...

 

still have a couple bottles from my trip to Brussels in September...not going to kill myself for a gift pack, as much as I'd love a glass

 

same here, i have a few bottles, but would love the glass, if I don't get more in the end who really cares.

 

As a FYI the glass included in the set is not the Classic 33cl glass but rather a smaller 15cl version

Yep, they are small, but still pretty cool w/ the gold Westvleteren XII lettering. I believe the idea was to split your bottle with a friend into the 2 provided glasses. I know I was able to safely split a bottle into the 2 glasses without any leftover, anyway.

 

I would love to hear about this, will they release any to Florida?

 

A local St. Louis retailer has said that Shelton Brothers is not the distributor for West of the Mississippi, and that Illinois was included as being in the West region.

He was also told that the Chimay importer, Manneken-Brussel Imports, will handle the West region. His distributor informed him that the importer planned to send it all to the West coast..........

 

Scratch that, the importer has verified they will be supplying Missouri. No word on Illinois.

Perhaps some of your saw this.

 

I recall buying Westvleteren in Chicago years ago. Maybe around 1999? I read that the monks were not happy about it, as the beer was being resold to the importer without their approval.

I'm hoping I can score one of the gift packs!
