Unfortunately, I took poor notes from my harvest wet hop ale last year. I think I had an extra 0.5 gallon absorbed converting from 5 oz pellet hops to 25 oz of fresh. Does math seem to work out? This year's recipe will be 67 oz fresh, which would mean my math I need to account for an extra 1.33 gallon.

yes, but I suggest sqeezing the hops after you have drained the kettle and reclaiming the lost wort. Don't know why more brewers don,t do it cause it really adds to the flavor. To be safe, put on surgical gloves, rinse gloved hands in star san then squeeze hops and reclaim yer wort, or at least split the batch into 2 fermenters and try it. Bet you won,t go back to losing wort.
