Hey all. I wasn't sure whether this belonged here, or in the Southwest forum.

I'm looking to get my hands on some wet hops this year. Obviously, hops don't grow well in Phoenix, or anywhere in Arizona, really, so I'm looking for a way to get them cross-country.

Does anyone know of an online source that will ship expedited to homebrewers in relatively small quantities? Or else does anyone know of any Arizona brew stores that are taking orders now?

    Thanks.

there's a facebook page "arizona hop growers coalition" or some such. AZ Wilderness just picked a bunch of hops for their upcoming wet hop beer.

Beyond that, you may want to try growing them yourself. If you have a east-facing wall, you can get come really great results in year 2.

Beyond THAT, you can absolutely buy hops online that are shipped in a reasonable amount of time. Google is your friend.

I believe I just drank that beer on Saturday night.

I didn't know hops were grown at all commercially in Arizona. I'll check that page out.
