Weyerbacher Imperial Sour Pumpkin?

    I've been a fan of Weyerbacher pumpkin in past years. Back in October during a pumpkin tap takeover I had some 2013 and had the same experience. We thought they had the wrong keg tapped as there was another sour pumpkin beer available. Turned out it was the right keg, just sour.

    I crushed them thing in two nights. They definitely had some more booze to them because those things were bone dry. Much more sour would have been too much, even for me.

    I emailed Weyerbacher, but no one ever got back to me. Anyone know the brewer with the BA account?

    It just came to me... think the BA account name is "mmbrewer" http://beeradvocate.com/community/members/mmbrewer.5476/ I feel like I remember Chris Wilson, their brewer, [Correction: Dan Weirback] used to post on BA under that account name, but the BA account might have been taken over by one of their marketing people more recently. (http://weyerbacher.com/company/staff/ ) I'm totally guessing here though... so take my words with a grain of salt.

    However, if they aren't responding to an email, they might not appreciate being contacted on BA too. They might be trying to investigate the infection so they can full statement about it.

    That beer was recalled. Please contact the brewery so it can be pulled from the market.
