Weyerbacher- Sunday Mole Stout KoP

Curious how it compares to this year's mex cake. This year's mex cake was utter disappointment. Last year's mex cake was good. I drain poured half of my glass of this year's MC when I got to try it in Charleston.

 

Not sure out there but it was in central New Jersey a month ago at this point.

 

Indeed. There are a few cases of it sitting at my local Wegmans.

 

This tastes just like Sunday Morning Stout with a little heat and cinnamon. Not strong in the adjuncts.

Also interested in finding some. Last I checked the Wegmans in Collegeville didn't receive any as of late last week. Gonna check out Malvern, Collegeville today. They might have in the back and you need to ask for it.

 

Whole Foods in the area have it, as long as you're willing to pay a small premium. I'm waiting for it to show up in Delaware for cheaper because that seems to happen with Weyerbacher.

 

Whole Foods in Devon had it on Monday $16 per pack.

Just picked up a 4-pack at Weis in Lansdale for $14.99.

 

I agree that the '15 iteration of MC was much better than the '16 but I think both MCs are better than the Mole variety. It's really good but I didn't get any hot peppers and I think the body is a touch less than MC. Regular SMS on the other hand rocks.

 

Honestly this beer is perfectly good but as I think I've stated in another thread, those of us in the Weyerbacher local area know that a much lower ABV hot stout, Conclave's Mexican Morning, is a lot better.

 

Haven't seen any cases of that showing up by me yet.

 

Does this beer come in cans or bottles?
