    I think this is a personal opinion. For me, it wasn't too boozy or hot fresh. Quite on the mark. HOWEVER...I maintain it's not the same beer as KBS..much more a substitute for BCBS or BCBCS.:rolling_eyes:

    Completely agree with you there.

    However, I disagree with you there. I think this is certainly more a replacement for KBS, and I might even happen to like SMS better, especially when factoring in availability and price. I still think BCBCS when on point (unlike the last release which I did not like the coffee they used) is better. :slight_smile:

    i agree with you 100%. i would be interested in trying sms and kbs next to each other without knowing which is which. i think they are very similar though. the 2013 bcbcs was one of the best beers ive ever had, and 2014 was just a little bit different/off (im not well versed in different coffee types so didnt know different coffees could affect flavors so much).
