Anybody have any experience aging this beer? I love it fresh and was wondering how it aged?

I have a two year old bottle in the cellar I was eyeballing the other day. If I break it out soon, I'll let you know how it's held up.

I don't, but I imagine it would be great.

I had a fresh one a few weeks ago and it was so freaking good, just swirls and waves of flavor. For the price it's seriously hard to beat. Next time I see some, I'm going to load up.

I bought a case at the brewery at the original release 4/10? and have been trying one every 6 month. They have been doing nothing but improving! Drinking great now, but will continue to age and see what happens. If you have good cellar conditions, then I highly recommend getting a case. At that price, you can't go wrong

I've got a case plus of the stuff, some of it a couple years or more old. Honestly, I haven;t opened any lately - I just haven't gotten to it. But it's such a great beer and reasonably inexpensive.

I have a bottle of Weyerbacher Thirteen still aging since 2008, and it's relatively the same beer. So I think you'll be good for a long time.

Except one uses Belgian yeast and the other domestic, so kinda not the same... but regardless both and will age well up to 5 years IMO.

I didn't say they were exactly the same. Fresh Tiny tastes very similar to Thirteen when it was fresh, and even the guys who give the tours at Weyerbacher will tell you that it was made in inspiration of Thirteen.

Sorry dude, gotta call u out. We use the same belgian yeast strain for tiny that we used for thirteen. Count the stars on tiny label.

Dan, that being said, is Tiny the same recipe as Thirteen?

I've still got a few bottles left from three years ago, and every bottle I've had up to this point has been great. Only issue is that I had the bottles standing up and the corks have dried out and tightened, so I need a pliers to get them open. Worth it though.

Edit - I may be misremembering if the original release was 4/10. I guess they're almost two years old then.

the only thing about the Tiny I do not like is the very low to almost no carbonation... Just wish it was a tad more bubbly... W/ that said I still love it.

No, its not exactly the same, but is very close. Thirteen was 13% alcohol and very tough to acheive consistently on the 6 or 8 batches we brewed. So kept the same recipe profile and decrease all ingredients equally to get it where we are now, the results being its dead-on consistent from batch to batch which is important for a year-round beer.
