Weyerbacher Twentieth Anniversary?

    Regardless of style, I wouldn't be surprised if it came out as 20%...

    I have lots of Weyerbacher in the basement right now but I'm ready and willing to make room. Anxiously waiting for details about this one...

    I'm sure it's done or in the works but it would be pretty cool of they did some variant of Insanity or Sunday Morning Stout...or both, like, say, Sunday Morning Insanity (Blithering Idiot aged in bourbon barrels that previously held Sunday Morning Stout :wink:)

    I know my opinion means squat, but I hope Weyerbacher goes big again & quits screwing around. Sixteen, Fourteen, Thirteen, & Twelve were all top-shelf, world-class beers & I'm waiting for them to knock out another A+ anniversary beer. I'm optimistic!

    I did the tour a week ago. The anniversary beer was mentioned, but nobody working knew what it was going to be.

    Apparently it will be an 11% abv Belgian dark ale with hints of coriander and star anise. Not necessarily what I was hoping for but I'm looking forward to it anyway.

    Loved Sixteen and Fifteen. Seventeen was pretty bad IMO. Eighteen and Nineteen were okay.

    Nineteen was underrated to me.

    One of the local liquor stores still had some 4 packs of this a couple weeks ago. I found it a yummy warm weather drinker last year.

    Definitely gonna get Twenty when it comes out.
