Any information on this place? I might have the chance to stop in but I don't want it to be a waste of time. Their website seems like a work in progress...http://www.whalersbrewing.com/. Just wondering if there are any tasting/tour opportunities you've experienced.

Just attended their grand opening today. They had a hazelnut cream stout, American Strong Ale & white ipa. All were very good, though once they release their standard ipa I tasted at last year's RI Brewfest I will really be happy. The American Strong Ale actually tasted like a better Harpoon imperial ipa.

Appears their hours will be 11-7 on Saturdays. $8 gets you tastings and a logo tulip glass.

Bummer! Didn't know their grand opening was today. I spent my last day in RI today after my grad school graduation and would have loved to check this place out!

Congrats! I actually shot over there from the Ryan Center watching my nephew graduate.

Wish I had known they opened as well. I went to Proclamation Ale Company in West Kingston yesterday but they were closed and I was unaware. Nice to have some decent nanos in the area to fill growlers.

I almost did the same thing, they are really good at keeping up their facebook page though, so make sure to check there before you go.

I think proclamation is supposed to be having a release party for their brett beer and another one next weekend, unfortunately i probably wont be able to check either them or whaler's for another couple weeks.

Yes, Proclamation is realising Palatelander (a Saison) and Keraterra (100% Brett). Again won't be able to make it cuz I will be in VT battling the HF 4th Anniversary shitshow!
