What are 'site editors'? Other questions inside...

    I just saw some users are now designated "site editors" instead of "member," and was wondering what this means...
    Are these new moderators? Who are they all?
    How did people come by such a prestigious sounding title?

    Also-- I noticed people cannot post content on Jason and Todd's profile pages... Is this an optional setting for all of us to enact, or just a setting for themselves?

    maybe they are people with extreme amounts of beer karma...

    I noticed someone who was an "event helper" or something, my guess is they're titles tied to access to certain forums.

    A few hand-picked people who work on approvals/edits for beers and places. The titles are new, but the people/roles are not. They've been in place for many years now as "global BeerFly guides."

    It's a setting. Explore yours for this and other amazing discoveries! :wink:
