Founders has got to be one.

And let the stone throwing start:
Dogfish Head, slightly homerist, slightly nostalgic, but I think variety and quality combined put it in competition with others I debated, including Great Lakes, Allagash and Maine (sorta one-dimensional-ish), Bear Republic and FW (haven't had enough to make full judgement).

    2- Deschutes

I'm visiting Colorado for the holidays and can get both here - wow, such great lineups and affordable. Hard to choose a top 2 that I can get in NC, but I love NoDa and Birdsong as my locals, and Founders has great seasonals. Firestone Walker is also a fave but I can't get it in NC yet.

Boneyard - Amazing stuff- Hop Venom, RPM, Bone-a-fied, Suge Knight, Armoured Fist etc. I could live on Hop Venom/RPM alone for hoppy goodness.

Firestone Walker- Barrel aged stuff is an experience in a bottle, and there other wares are solid as well.

Unibroue- everything they make is IMHO absolutely amazing

North Coast-To this day I have only had 1 beer from here that did not please me(old stock '13 or 12') and they put out a good variety of styles

It's hard to pick just two, but Revolution Brewing and Great Lakes have been taking up the most room in my frig lately. Both have great stouts/porters and Revolution's Anti Hero is hands down my favorite IPA.

Took 9 posts before either of the best two breweries in the country were mentioned? Of course that's IMHO, and YMMV.

Two? I only get to pick two? That's tough...

Taking into account how impressed with their beers I have been, how regularly I drink from their product line, and the variety of new stuff plus the consistency of their standards...

Stone - continually keep my interest with their new releases and collaborations, in addition to their highly regarded staple products
Founders - an industry standard whose special releases still get a lot of attention, and whose integrity and craftsmanship never waver

...if this were a top five, Firestone Walker, Evil Twin, and Great Divide would round off the list...

I've enjoyed everything I've tried from both of them, they cover every style I like, and their proximity to me means I get to enjoy their stuff as fresh as possible.

Hill Farmstead, love everything they make too bad it's so hard to get. After that it's tough Toppling Goliath is fantastic, Fat Heads is right there too, Alchemist although it's a one trick pony for me with HT, but that's a great trick. Lawsons makes fantastic beers. Lol, then there's MBC and Dinner and Lunch, and on it goes.
