Again, the "top" lists recently have led me to think of the next obvious question... what are your top 10 beer STORES. These are ones that I just cant help but stop whenever I am even remotely close to. I travel a bit and have been to many; but here are my top stores and ones that I can remember: 1-DeCiccos - ANY location (for the most part) but prefer Brewster, Ardsley, or Armonk, NY. 2-State Line Liquors - Elkton, MD 3-Julios - Westboro, MA 4-Steins Deli - NOLA 5-Argonaut - Denver, CO 6-Beer Temple - Chicago, IL 7-Olivers - Albany, NY 8-Vista Beverage - South Salem, NY - Local bottle shop with fantastic service and selection 9-The Beermongers and Saraveza - Portland, OR 10-Brueklen - Brooklyn, NY Honorable mention - Not super impressed with Bottleworks in Seattle - don't get me wrong, FANTASTIC service and a good selection, but a bot pricey and somewhat limited (I think I was there on a bad day) but I would return if I ever find myself there again. Also, many whole foods, trader joes, and Total Wine locations are great but I didn't include them... Cheers!
In order: Bottles- In the plaza on the corner of Gano and Pitman in Providence High Spirits - In the Whole Foods plaza on North Main St. in Providence Nikki's Liquors- In the Shaws plaza in North Providence (though apparently they're moving) Eno- Tiny joint smack in the middle of downtown Providence (on the next block up from URI's Providence campus) Yankee Spirits- Huge joint in Attleboro, MA Campus Fine Wines- Brooke St. in Providence, near where Brooke intersects with Wickenden. Gasbarro's- Huge joint in North Attleboro, MA Wines and More- Huge joint in Cranston, RI Wakefield liquors- Next to the Bank of America in Wakefield, RI Washington Hill Liquors- Small place easily overlooked in Lincoln, RI
Sam's Quik Shop, Durham Brawley's, Charlotte Bruisin' Ales, Asheville Bine and Vine, San Diego The World of Beer, Clearwater City Beverage, Winston Salem Grape and Gourmet, Virginia Beach Kingdom Liquors, Brandon Fl Cindirene's, Ayden NC Roof Brother's Wine and Spirits, Paducah(Park Ave.)
The few stores I go to always have what I want so no need to go to ten.
