What are your top 5 beer styles?

Well I like a lot of styles but if I have to go with 5

IPA West coast
English Bitter / Pale ale
Stout
German Pilsner
Scottish Ale

 

German Pilsner
Helles
Irish Stout
American Pale Ale
English Dark Mild

this was difficult.
The sheer amount of Yards Philly Pale and Brawler I drink that alone made pale ale and mild on the list I don’t drink others at all at this point

all I drink is German imports and Guinness and Murphy’s at this point with some yards thrown in

i love cask beers!! Wish more breweries did them around me. At one time, when I didn’t have a family, Karl Strauss would have a cask night, it was either every week or every month….can’t remember. I went as much as possible. I also enjoyed that they would take a current beer and add something to it for the cask version. Nothing crazy just small but good tweaks.

 

Yes, more cask beer please. It’s so much more enjoyable of an experience, in my opinion. My dream is to have fresh Timothy Taylor landlord on cask.

Such a great style! Flavorful but highly drinkable. I am glad I homebrew because I can actually drink it. Forever miss Sierra Nevada’s.

It hits the sweet spot for me. Still hard to find true good examples of the style.

Based upon the beer brands occupying my local beer retailer's shelves the Hazy/Juicy beers are what the majority of craft beer consumers are drinking.

Same here, sadly. Bottle shops aren't bumming me out as much anymore, as there is always a solid supply from Jack's Abby, Notch, Schilling, and other lager friendly brewers. What's kicking me in the nuts on the regular are tap lists at bars and restaurants. Five juicy IPAs, a smoothie something or other, three sours, two pastry stouts and then PBR and Guiness. Brutal.
