I was wondering if anyone could tell just by looking at the barcode on the back (no bottling date). Thanks for any help!
Not sure if it makes any difference at all but I picked up a bottle at Hunger Mountain today and it has the exact same sticker....
Going to Waitsfield to pick some up in the morning. If this beer is older than 3 hours off the bottling line I'm demanding a refund.
If you bought it personally dont worry. If you didnt and need to ask this...get better trading partners.
OK, some clarification. I traded for this bottle the week Lawson's dropped DS again after the hiatus. I opened it at a blind DIPA share that included a bunch of other topflight beers a week later. Nearly everyone thought it tasted off in a major way and possibly old. That's why I asked.
That bar code sticker is applied by Hunger Mountain so it can scan at the register. It is not specific to a certain batch.
Fluid ounces and I know you're being sarcastic, but Hunger Mountain charges the same price as the other 2 retail outlets. So your issue is with Lawson's.
