West Coast Style tonight.
First time trying this one, solid example of the style.
With some others, a Union Jack. Thanks to azdback for this one.
Finished up a biz law exam, and relaxing first with the old standby...
no pic but just killed ba gingerbread, about to start abrasive (cig break in betwen)
Good times, hope you are all well out there in brew land...
Karma... it's real...

You're going to tell us what beers, but not which cigarettes? You're holding out on us.
Finishing up with this that also landed today. Would have never known this was 10%abv. Very coffee forward. Nice beer. Sixpoint was always hit or miss with me. This is a hit.
Nice work on the Genesis. Been lying one down for awhile now awaiting that special occasion that never seems to manifest. Time to drink? Could be.
You guys make me thirsty.
Happy Birthday to me!!!
My wife made this great spread for me and the boys for my birthday.
I had to compliment it with a nice Sam Smith's Yorkshire Stingo. It's a very good night.
Then a local boy:
Got a late start tonight so I've got the pedal to the metal.
First time try
Followed by another first time try
Just poured some more of the 32oz growler I got yesterday of Oak Aged Yeti, into my Double Bastard tumbler. Nice little glass for a big stout like this.
LOL, pfunk, pack left in the storm...still lit tho
No Nugget Nectar in FL but we do have this
7 days old to boot. If they ever can this I would buy it more frequently than Jai Alai.
I think all the hop traits (oils, bitterness, pine, citrus, etc.) balance eachother perfectly to make a beautiful DIPA. Better than Pliny IMO
Now onto a local Scotch Ale from this year's batch, I know it's not the correct glassware, but it's still a cool glass (got it from a tasting with last year's batch). Also, a little thinner than last year's batch.....still has a good flavor though.
You hafta try Joe Mama's Milk Stout next (if you haven't already)!
Having not had Pliny, I cannot corroborate this statement, but it is a bold one. I'm sure glad I was able to pick up a case of this hop nectar then.
'08 BCS. Sublime.
Ending the night with some Jamie XX on da' dubs.
Hill Farmstead Abner - Luck recipient of a friend who went to Vt this past weekend!
Just cracked open my first ever can of Heady Topper (Thanks Crookdrain!).... Holy mother of DIPAs. I understand the beer world now.
It does get better with age - Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout, that is. I had four, drank three right quick, then found the last one about a year later...smoooooth as a baby's bottom!
Alright, time to open up this bad-boy...
First a Hopslam, now an Abrasive
Fresh Founders Imperial Stout at cellar temp is an all out assault on the senses.I am in stout love.
Cheers to the beers!
DFH 90 min
Now onto another first time try
Pretty good IPA, all things considered.
Lighter night for me. Started out with a Foothills Carolina Strawberry, and closed out with a Vol. 4:
Believe it or not the bartender tried to talk me out of the genesis. Said it was awful and I wouldn't like it. He was very wrong it was magnificent! Better than the bolt cutter I had recently. And yes I am one that actually really enjoyed bolt cutter too.
You are on a mission!!!
This is one of the best beers IMO and likely the best IPA I've ever had!
Sorry for recycled picture.
Blind pig in my new stem glass:
Nice that looks familiar
