I have been sitting here contemplating my plan of attack on the cellar/fridge for this weekend and was curious what other people were planning on opening up for 'Merica's birthday.

Feel free to post pictures, brag, show normal offerings or tell me this is pointless.

    Lets hear what ya got!

Enjoy By 7-4-13. It'll be too old to drink on Friday.

Risky! It says Enjoy BY not Enjoy On. Hope it doesn't self destruct like mission impossible at midnight..

Baby boy due anyway now (might be a July 4th firecracker) ... Have a Beatification waiting to celebrate the occasion.

IF he doesn't make an appearance for another few days I've got a couple RuinTens and 004s I may get into, if I get onory in the evenings waiting on the tot, there's also a Consecration and Salvation still hanging out in the fridge that may get taken down over the long weekend.

    Gnome talmbout?

We're having roughly 11 people over for the 4th. Cooler is stocked with SN Pale Ale, Session, and Firemans.

Planning on busting into some more limited stuff as the day progresses. Bombers on the possible list: Boxers, Dayman, or Funk Metal. Also got a box from Colorado today... Will probably drink some of that as well.

I usually grab some Anchor Liberty Ale:slight_smile: Only partly because of the name, and because it is very underrated. I will also have some Prairie Ale and Weisse Versa.

Oh, and I am probably going to be watching a bad baseball team at some point. Either the Cubs on WGN, or Astros at Minute Maid.:slight_frown:

I am thinking a '13 Brandy BA Huna and '11 Abacus and maybe a bit of Mexican cake. Should be a fine weekend

Kicked off the holiday weekend with a Cigar City Maduro Brown. Very tasty!

So I need some help. My 150th Untappd unique check in is in 4 beers AND I want something special for 4th of July. Below are some things that are sitting around. What should I open???

Parabola, Sucaba, Melange 3, Stone Mint Chocolate Stout - have 1 each of these so they are gone after this
Ananke, Pannepot 2011, BCBS 2012 - 2 each of these so will have another to save

    Leaning either BCBS or Ananke....

Fresh Ananke is awesome, and perfect for this Houston heat.

Is it better fresh? Its a wild so shouldn't have too many issues with age right?

I think it is better fresh. Anyway the first release really fell off after a year, and I could not have been happier with the fresh bottles I had from this years release. In this heat, that would be my go to right now.
