those Boulevard Tasting Room beers have been pretty hit and miss, IMO

Agreed. I had the ESB from their Tasting Room series and it just didn't do anything for me.

Sorry to any fans of this brew. Canned 5-19-15. It had this metallic off taste. Friends that had a sip alongside me had "chemicals" as their description. Maybe a bad batch? Wasn't too thrilled about two-hearted either unfortunately...

Their Oatmeal Stout was thinner than any porter I've had and closer to a light lager in feel. It was okay tasting, but the feel literally destroyed the beer.

    Finishers:

Great Belgian session IPA. Big grapefruit, mango, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, light banana, bubblegum, pepper, clove, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Sizeable peppery spice and piney bitter finish; with a very crisp and sticky mouthfeel with plenty of flavor for 4.4%. I will keep buying singles while I still can. Delicious.

A very good pale ale. Flavors of tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Good sized pine/citrus rind bitter finish; with a smooth and moderate sticky/resin mouthfeel. Nicely hoppy while stile having a good malt backbone. Showcases the El Dorado hops well, I have limited experience with them. I randomly bought an impulse 6'er a couple weeks ago, and it was worth it overall.

A damn nice imperial oatmeal stout. Big flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toasted oats, dark bread, light smoke/char, and some herbal hops. Balanced herbal/roast/charred bitter finish; with really nice creamy/silky mouthfeel. Very smooth for the ABV. For a new brewery to the game in the last 2-3 months, I haven't been disappointed by a single beer. Their witbier is one of the best I've had as well. I will likely be buying that soon when I am in the mood for a wit.

My go-to amber ale along with Bells. Balanced flavors of grapefruit/lemon/orange peel citrus and caramel/toasted biscuit malts with slight roast and balanced floral/piney bitterness. Almost killed this still fairly fresh 6 pack already. June 19th dating. Pretty much the whole lagunitas portfolio is in my rotation. Never been disappointed at all really with seasonals or year rounds.

wife is working overnight, the boy is at my step-dad's, in honor I thought I'd make a relevant pic with the mini figure but the boy has three boxes of Marvel Legos and I just searched them all and found the backpack, swords and guns but not the head, torso or legs for Deadpool... felt like a half hour searching.... fuck it
