Kegging my Stone IPA clone and decided to crack this which is from 2009. Wow!! This is amazing now!!
Random question, have you ever made Graf, and if so, did you send a couple bottles to the dudes that do brewing tv?
Nothing yet because I am working.
But I am putting this in the fridge for tonight.
Thanks to Saturn1, a great BA.

Kind of a different. Recycling comes every friday, so this is a pic the beers i've had at home by myself in the past week before i put them out for pick up. i don't cellar or store beers, so I drink them as I get them.

Have a very good friend in Iowa who just gave me the same weather report and it made ME feel cold - eighteen below! Stay safe!
Looked at the Facebook for a bottle shop about 25 mins away that I had never been to because I know they price gouge on bottles pretty hard, but I noticed they had Hopslam on tap. Never had truly fresh Slam, let alone on tap. It was glorious. Had it side by side with my favorite beer, Flower Power. Either their FP was old/bad (likely) or HopSlam made FP taste like cheap vodka (doubtful).
Anyway, I grabbed 3 bottles of HopSlam and two bottles of Nugget Nectar, each bottled one week ago. Pretty psyched, considering Nugget Nectar isn't even officially released in this area yet, and I've yet to find a sixer or case of HopSlam. Also grabbed a bottle of Green Flash Palette Wrecker. Paid too much, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't happy.
Just had this last night. One can wasn't enough. Damn good!
From the city of Wind

Have you tried the Sam Adams Double Agent IPL? If you like hops the IPL blows Whitewater and Latitude out of the water (IMO). 'Not sure what the availability is on this beer, I haven't really seen it around, though.
No wonder it sounded familiar, it's in the spring pack that's out now. I really wanted to try the Irish Red and MP Porter. I already had Alpine Spring on draft, and I had little interest in White Lantern. So your DA IPL recommendation, plus the fact that Giant Eagle didn't have anything else really enticing, lead me to buying the 12 pack.
My nose is confused. My palette and brain are confused. I'm pretty sure I like this, but I wouldn't buy it again. I wish I could give a better explanation/review, but I'm having a hard time explaining this. It kind of smells and tastes...muddy? I don't know. I just don't think IPL is a style that was meant to be. This definitely wasn't nearly as good as Whitewater. I don't hold any ill will, though, my PA brother, I wanted Irish Red and MP Porter anyway.
Starting with this one while the wife's out getting inked. When she gets home we'll share some New Holland Dragon's Milk. Gotta say it feels a little odd drinking a wheat beer in the middle of winter. But delicious nonetheless.
Very unique and likable offering. I'm quite impressed with how drinkable it is.
Eh, nothing too exciting or rare...Alaskan Brewing's Spring seasonal, a Black IPA. We were sent home from work today because of snow (adult snow day!?!?), and this beer paired with a bowl of my boyfriend's chili is a great way to start Thirsty Thursday off
I love this beer and the idea behind it!
Oh so your also a fellow flag collector too? Big ups for that as I am too!
Vacation tomorrow means...my weekend begins NOW
Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye followed by Sierra Nevada Celebration. YES!
Big thanks to MoparGrease for this want!
Bell's Hopslam!! First time having it! So damn good it's not even funny! Only got one as a gift from a friend, unfortunately.
Gonna follow it up with a DFH 90 minute.
That sounds like a glorious day! Hopslam is one of my favorites on tap. Enjoy!
Drinking SA Double Agent right outta the bottle, picked up a case of this Saturday.
Ok, DFH down...time to take things up a notch. Nuke it.
A late-in-the-day "work meeting" occurred at the bar next door about an hour ago, resulting in:
1 pint of Fuller's Black Cab Stout,
1 pint of Wormtown Be Hoppy IPA, and
0 discussion of work.
My favorite local DIPA, Evolution Lot 6, finally got released in bottles today so I picked up a 4-pack! Bottle number one, cheers!!
UPS dropped an unfrozen bunch of beer on my doorstep. Thank you beer god's. Must rejoice with some WnB
Bell's Smitten Golden Rye Ale
Paired with a green chili, water chestnut, bell pepper, bean sprout and tofu salad which turned out wayyy spicier than I was anticipating (which I am totally okay with).
Loves me some Head Hunter!
Thought I'd try this. Cool-looking can, and a pretty good beer.
