Many undervalue how good this FFF offering is!

    It's terrific!

Knocking down a Harpoon 100 Barrel Series Director's Cut. Decent but not great. A little dissapointing.

Goose Island BCBS while watching Indiana and Michigan. Man this beer is exquisite!! Bought some Schlafly AIPA today now that they've switched up the release on that beer...brewed 1/29/13. Will have one of those next. Go IU (for my wife the IU alum)!!

Stood there with a Hopslam in one hand and a Nugget Nectar in the other. I promised the Hopslam I would give it sloppy seconds with my mouth.

Recipe: 2/3 beer of choice (preferably AAL) or some as such. 1/3 spicy V-8 (or tomato juice, as preferred). Cholula to taste. Black pepper on top, optional. Not just for hangovers. Stirred, not shaken.

    DuClaw Divine Retribution #2

DuClaw Sweet Baby Jesus on Nitro. Makes a world of difference. I didnt like it out of the bottle, felt thin, flavor was fleeting. This is a whole different beer.

And now Im at my hotel, struggling to finish this. I swore I would exhaust myself trying to enjoy Barleywines. I just can not. The rest will be going out as extras on my next trade, and I wash my hands of this style

'Gansett Bock right now, probably the best brew they make in addition to the Summer Ale. Gunna polish the last 2 of my Sucks later. Listening to some Pixies.

Went over to my man Jeremy's place earlier for a tasting (thanks, bentonquest, ThePorterSorter, & SyracuseBeerNerd) where I enjoyed a number of nice beers, and a couple of bourbons . . . :

    Russian River Beatification, Jan. 2011
    Cantillon Classic Geuze, Sept. 2011
    Pannepot Reserva, 2008
    Mikkeller Black Hole - Cognac
    New Glarus Wisconsin Belgian Red
    Lagunitas Sucks (bottled Jan. 15)
    Heady Topper
    Pappy 15yr / Willett single barrel 7yr

. . . and I guess that's it. Enjoying a bottle of Uinta Hop Notch now with a burrito from Alto Cinco. Hard to beat that.

Edit: oh, and Anchorage The Tide and Its Takers. Tasty shit, all around.
