Did an early morning dance through the fallen apples and yellow jackets in my back yard - got a couple dozen of usable Macs and dumped another 300+ bad apples (with accompanying yellow jackets) into the end of the garden. Haven't got stung yet but I know my luck'll run out eventually. Anyway, here's something for breakfast with a potential sting at the end:

    Took a nice bike ride to the farmers market and grabbed a chocolate almond scone to go with my KBS for second breakfast.
    Powering up for the bi-annual clean out the front hallway task.

    Total cheat, but last night:
    Iron Bird (Brewing) Propaganda IPA and their Deadstick DIPA. Both smooth, with some bite. Maybe our best in-town IPAs now in the Colorado Springs region. Take what we can get... Fossil is also solid, as is Manitou Brewing.

    This is one of my favorite pumpkin beers this year. Terrific all the way with a hint of dark brown liquid sugar that is a little sticky. There is some bright cinnamon in this which proves that if you're me and shoot your mouth off about how bad cinnamon goes with beer then these guys will do it so that it excites.

    Because the hops are woody and bitter this beer would pair well with fresh rosemary. Vibrant and bitter little ale.

    Sorry about the blur. I am gonna more of this beer. See those pink stripes. That means this beer was a single.
