No picture, it's too dark in here and my iPad doesn't have a flash on it. Enjoying a Backwoods Bastard in a snifter and waiting on my guys to finish their Boy Scouts meeting.

Heres one more. That beer is actually dated as a best by. So it was bottled sometime around early June.

Was that a 2010 Utopias? I thought it was released every other year? (in that case, it should have been a $2 more! J/k )

Trying my first go at Goudenband by Liefmans.

Everything I thought it could be - as a guy who mostly drinks stouts.

I thought they released the 2012 for the sole reason that it was the 10th anniversary? I could be wrong though.

The 2 I still have left are both odd years, 2005 and 2009, so I *think* they've always gone that way except for the 2012 which is their 10th Anniversary release and I'm not buying it cuz it's like +$100 what I paid for the others.

It's probably older than that 'cause Great Lakes puts a recommended "Best By" date on their bottles. I'm not sure how far out they date them but either way that bottle gets a big "ewwwwwww"!!!

First time having this. It is nice to have a canned Saison option, even better when it is a pretty tasty one.

This particular bottle took about two weeks to get here, too. Welcome back, old friend.

Photobucket's updated their website and suddenly I'm over my space limit! WTF is that? Started deleting some photos which may compromise some images in my older posts - really aggravating  *hostility ensues* ...
Not really inclined to pay them for more space at this point - maybe when I'm feeling less hostile...

So, Flickr for now, I guess

    *hostility subsides*
...due in no small part to these great beers! :D

    Ah, Mother England...
Started off with this after dinner (dessert, if you will):
    Fuller's London Porter - a classic...

But then I faced this dilemma:
    Hmmmm...

Went with (as if I could go wrong lol):
    Thomas Hardy's Ale
Later, to finalize my night and ease my ills (lol - again, as if I had to choose between the two - of course I was gonna have both!):
    Fuller's Vintage Ale
Notice I went with the pint glass instead of a tulip - I figured a pint bottle of beer ought to go in a pint glass.

These are all damn good beers.

    Cheers!

C'mon, man! Not lazy at all, you need to pump it up to the next level: "I was in a wood shop accident and now I'm left with two hooks. Worse yet, the following day I got my leg caught in a C-Clamp accident and lost my leg, now, when I walk on the beach my trail leaves a print and a dot. That was a REALLY BAD week!!!!"

(Now that sounds better than "lazy"!! Sales 101. Ha!)

Loving the Schlafly glass too! I've only got 2 left from the 6-pack I grabbed. Great beer!

Tonight I'm drinking a Lil' B. Good beer but a bit sweet for me...
