Tonight:

 

Well, today began as a wet, cool day that turned into a gorgeous fall afternoon. Keeping the Autumn mood alive with this Coffee Pecan Pie Porter from Clown Shoes.

It took the vermin about a week, but they finally broke through the pumpkins.

Went to Home Depot earlier today to pick up a new leaf blower but they were out of the model I want. Went old school with the rake and tarp, and you can clearly see that I gave up after 3/4 of the front yard.





Beer related ice cream that my wife picked up for our anniversary on Friday, along with my ice cream related beer glass. Now if only I had some actual pecan pie to go along.

Been away from WBAYDN for a bit, just got back from a work trip to LA. Currently enjoying a Noble Ale Works Galaxy Showers, one of several great beers I was able to pack into the suitcase for the flight home. Had a Modern Times Black House and Deschutes Fresh Squeezed last night and at lunch today that also came back with me from the trip.

Nail Brewing is located in Bassendean, Western Australia, and it makes a tasty stout - semi sweet caramel malt, with a roasted bitter sweet linger.
The afternoon closer, Feral Brewing's Hop Hog:

One of my favorite Brewers here, also from Western Australia. Citrus nose and taste; totally "west coast" style. A great closer for the afternoon. Cheers!
