Grassroots aka HF/ Tired Hands together? Yes thanks Alan!
All right ladies and gentleman, let's get this Friday afternoon rolling.
That is a nice beer for a golden I also like the IPA. Seems you need a foolproof pint glass now.
I appreciate the feedback. How strong is it?
picking a few out of this line-up
Here's the beer:
Seeing as how it is starting to look a lot like Truckee in CT and the rest of New England, I am cracking open a bottle of Eclipse Elijah 12 year 2011.
I just got done with round #1 of clearing the driveway, and those were my thoughts exactly:
I even set it out prior to going outside, so it was ready when I was. Cheers!
Great Lakes Conway's Irish Ale right now.. probably some Nugget Nectar later.. cheers!
Troeg's Nugget Nectar. Hope all of my fellow BAs up in the northeast manage to keep warm tonight in all that snow. Cheers y'all!
Had this on tap at Perch Pub:
Now at home warming up with another:
The 1 time I have a sitter lined up for the tour we get a blizzard. Next week I guess. Sucks because I live a few blocks from the brewery. I bought all 3 for the storm. The Porter is excellent. Had 3 and saving 3 for tomorrow. Store said Foolproof was flying off the shelves.
Lil Workers Comp for my extra efforts today...
I never knew that nectar from nuggets could be so damn delicious!
Cooking some Stromboli's and drinking a Shackamaximum, Really nice beer and comes in 12oz bottles now for under $40 case.
Mushroom and Sausage on the right
Uh yeah...fresh nugget followed by a growler of abner? I'm glad I'm snowed in...
No heat at all from the peppers? I can see why you were disappointed.
Me too! Oh, and a 3 bean w/ lunch. Gotta imbibe now. Tomorrow's clean-up will be hell.
Moved onto this one, courtesy of an AWESOME BA, Rutager. Thanks again!
I always love it when BAs post pictures of their little furry drinkin' buddies.
Started with a SNPA now having this
It's the weekend!
I have met the Foolproof team a couple of times, they are pretty cool as well. I was at Doherty's the other day and Nick came over and gave me a pint glass as we have chatted a couple of times.
Now onto this over-looked Colorado gem, Bristols Winter Warlock.
Think warm. Stay warm.
ISO one of those glasses. Anyone who wants to trade glassware, shoot me a message.
I had one of them back in 06. Lovely brew.
By passing the Fosters premium ale "gift" from my wife and revisiting Big Sky IPA
Which reminds me of Racer 5.
Best oatmeal stout in colorado hands down.
Just getting off work but I have a tropic king waiting for me at home!
Just drove through a snow storm in Rochester, NY for some select beers. Bout to crack into a 1.6 Stone Ruination!
Got Hopslammed at home, getting Hopslammed at the bar. Cheers!
BA Old Rasputin XV
Thanks for the cup Timmy
I was hoping to be drinking Heady this weekend, but Nemo put a crimp in the plans (and I didn't have anything quite so audacious to chill it between). So did the next best thing. STOCKED UP!
Started with Maine Beer Co. "Zoe". A very Happy, Hoppy Amber. For the rest of the storm (or weekend, whichever lasts longer), I've got a Palate Wrecker, 4-pack of Breakfast Stout, a Newport Storm Winter Ale (porter), more ME Beer Co. - a Peeper Ale & a Mo, and one Ballast Point Sculpin IPA. Should make it till the last snow flake.
Breakfast Stout, no pic, sorry. and now, time to revisit an old friend
Thanks to Jose2412!! Might break into that BB4D before this snowstorm is done. Stay warm folks!
