    New Belgium Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale. Read a lot of fair-to-middling reviews of this brew, most saying the flavor profile isn't very "label adherant", not enough salt, caramel, or brownie. I must have gotten a good bottle, because mine is tasting as advertised. Really intrigued by the salt over the malty brown base :slight_smile:

    Jai Alai. I'm having one for 1st time in almost 2 years, it's good, but not quite as good as I remembered.

    Yeah I feel the same way. I tried this once before and couldn't get enough of it so I bought another. I haven't been to the brewery yet, but it's on my short list of places to go.

    Just got in from Tulsa. The wife & I saw "The Book of Mormon" ( her idea ). I am ruined for musicals! That was funny as hell & extremely sacreligious. Parker & Stone's finger prints are all over that fine effort. It was funny on the intermission, I think about 60% of the audience was humored & the other 40% looked mortified & were probably convinced everyone was going to Hell. ( I think my wife maybe partially in that camp ). Earlier I had an Alpine Hoppy Birthday, not really to my liking; too dank & catty, a Roughtail Hoptometrist DIPA & an Evil Twin Doughnut Break. Now back at the Hacienda, Shmaltz Death of a Contract Brewer Black IPA.

    Not sure how many more I have in me, as I must take my oldest son back to the doc ( in Tulsa ) to get fitted for an ankle brace. Sleep will be a great idea at some point...

    Round 2, a Lagunitas Sucks. Think my 6er is entering a new phase. The fruit aromas have died way down, to be replaced by a kicking pine/spruce scent. They are really close to their best-by date, should be an interesting pour.
