What beer are you drinking now? #1124

Don't like this beer quite as much as the other Sweetwaters I've been trying. It's real nice to look at though

 

I like flying dog more than most here, but not even close to JA.

 

Another lovely day! Still trying to get over this cold and still job searching, but woke up breathing so that's a good thing...I think.
Last one of these and it's still resiny and lemony...not sure how old this is, it sure as hell isn't fresh, but I sure would love to find it uber fresh!

I agree with you on that. FD is pretty Solid/Above Par with most offerings, but when they come out with a Whimper...boy does it push that Envelope! That IPL is slightly above Solid but not on JA level of Hoppy Lagers.

 

So I gotta go into work a little early to try our new farm to table food menu at the new place I started working at a month now. Very crazy how time goes by quick, didnt say anything on here about getting laid off from the other job(been real busy since). Long story short, the owners of the bar I ran for the last 2 years decided to close up for good and only gave me 4 days notice to find another job... It was very hard me, but I took a stand that day when I found out and decided to say your on your own these last few days and went out looking for another job. Got lucky talking to a fellow bartender that day while I was enjoying a pint at a new bar I never been to and got hired the same day at the place he recommended. Very weird how things go full cycle sometimes.



Drinking the same beer as yesterday to start my day out today/ personally celebrate the new and upscale menu. Been waiting for them to introduce this menu for a bit and cant wait to try the stuffed portabellas!! Also gonna sample out the NB ben and jerry's calab and a can of barrel aged buffalo sweat, should be fun!

 

@BeerVikingSailor I will join you in on a Bell's 30th. Warmed up my way from Fridge Temp. This Brew is pretty Banging!

I don't like to praise Bells too often..but this brew is one worth trying. It's Expedition meets Ten FIDY. I'll leave it at that.

The Mango wasn't very good but this Three Berry is great

 

I head nod this. Things usually work out for the best. You think it's melancholy but turns out a Blessing. Hope things progress for you now.

 

This made a bit of national news, and sent Minnesota beer nerds into a tizzy so much that it became hard-to-acquire (and expensive for a middle-of-the-road hefe - I paid $4 for this can).

The beer struggles with what it is - it's sort of a hefe, sort of a session IPA .....





..... but with this view, it could be Bud Light Chelada and I'd probably enjoy it.



Mrs. O and I are dining at Madame Janette's tonight. They are reported to have Westie XII (and VIII and Blonde) available. I'm so pumped, I can't see straight.
